White Katana: Design and finishes

This white katana with its 1095(T10) steel blade and wave-shaped hamon is available with any sharpening. The included scabbard is made of ivory-white lacquered wood. The hardwood handle is surrounded by white PU samegawa with gold menuki, held in place by a white tsuka-ito woven into a diamond shape. The round, gilded guard is accompanied by a carved dragon and a gilded brass habaki.

With its 28.34 inches blade and total length of 40.16 inches including scabbard, this white katana weighs only 3.09 lb. It is very well balanced and therefore easy to handle.
