Black Ninjato: Design and finishes

The blade of this black ninjato, in manganese Steel, has engraved dragon patterns and a black hamon. The gray wooden scabbard features finely carved dragons. The black, diamond-shaped tsuka-ito surrounds the hardwood handle and PU black samegawa on which is a gray menuki.

The round, gilded iron guard is carved with a dragon topped by a gilded brass habaki, also carved. The thick sageo, blending shades of orange, violet and yellow, adds color to this black ninjato. With an overall length of 39.76in and a weight of 2.87 lb, this ninjato is perfectly handy and functional. The included scabbard can be used to display your ninjato as a decoration.
