Fūjin Katana Sword: design and finishes
The Fūjin katana sword (風神) also known as the God of Wind is a hand-forged work of art with a hand-polished T10 steel blade that can be sharpened or unsharpened according to your preferences. The flame-shaped hamon is obtained by differential clay tempering. Its elegant, sturdy black-lacquered wooden saya is complemented by a thick blue Sageo. The handle, wrapped in real white ray skin and blue Tsuka-ITO woven in a diamond pattern, offers an excellent grip. The richly engraved, gold- and silver-plated cruciform guard, with chrysanthemum flowers, is the real centerpiece. The Fuchi and Kashira match, with gold- and silver-plated floral motifs. This exceptional katana sword is worthy of the name Fūjin, the God of Wind.
