Kōrin Straight Tanto: Design and finishes

The Kōrin Tanto features a straight, curve-free T10 steel blade with a two-tone red and gray profile that emphasizes its elegant edge. The red-lacquered wooden scabbard is adorned with a painted chrysanthemum symbol, while the round black guard contrasts with the refined texture of the imitation white stingray skin handle. The handle is wrapped in black diamond-pattern Tsuka-ITO, and decorated with a black dragon-shaped menuki. The brass Habaki, a Sageo, a black Fuchi, and a black Kashira complete the set.
